Hi I'm a fully qualified teacher and having attained a B.Ed (Hons) from Goldsmiths College University of London, I have successfully tutored pupils for 11 plus preparation and Independent Schools for over 30 years and I have a high pass rate.
Assessments
In order to join my tuition, all pupils are required to sit an assessment. This enables me to identify strengths and weaknesses and also to place students in one of two groups. One group is an ‘Independent’ group who need less teacher input, and work at a quicker pace. The other ‘Assisted’ group will require greater teacher input and work at their own pace.
Proper marking
I mark the work personally, and give comments on how to improve (I do not get past pupils to mark work I’ve set).
